Ushering in the autumn season, Buckhead Village presents Gallerie 88, an immersive exhibition and event series set to kick off Friday, September 30 through Sunday, October 9.
The exhibition will highlight art, fashion and design featuring both local and national innovative Black artists across various mediums.

Gallerie 88 Design House Opening Night Celebration
Friday, September 30 – Pre-reception at 6pm; Performance at 8pm
The festivities will kick off with a pre-reception from 6-8pm in the open-air area of The Veranda – located at the corner of Bolling Way and Buckhead Avenue across from Le Bilboquet. Guests will get an exclusive first look at the Gallerie 88 Design House art and design exhibition while enjoying artfully crafted cocktails and canapès from Saint Germain and live music.
Plus, the property will unveil a new fall installation and photo-moment capturing creative portraits of guests’ art-inspired fashion looks by photographer, Chekier Barthley of King Capt Photography.
At 8pm, the Gallerie 88 Design House, located across from the Veranda, will welcome guests to enjoy a live performance presented by Elevate Atl, in partnership with France Atlanta. Dancer Qudus Onikeku will perform Africaman Original – a solo performance, combining the energy of Fela Kuti and the background of African, Brazilian and Black American archives of body intelligence. Black Women Photographers Meetup and Artist Talk with Sydney Foster at Gallerie 88 Design House
Sunday, October 2, 11 am - 12 pm
Black Women Photographers, a global community, directory, and hub of over 1,000 Black women and non-binary identifying photographers, spanning over 50 countries and 35+ U.S. states will host a meetup for Atlanta's community of Black women photographers to mix, mingle and meet each other and hear photographer Sydney Foster discuss her work and inspirations. Specialty coffee drinks will be presented by Color Cold Brew.
Black Women in Visual Art (BWVA) presents 'Extraordinary Women Leaders in the Arts' at Gallerie 88 Design House
Sunday, October 2 - 1-3 pm
Moderated by Co-Founders Lauren Jackson Harris and Daricia Mia DeMarr, the panel discussion will feature a few of the most prominent creative leaders sharing their experiences and vision for Atlanta's present and future.

Buckhead Village Art Crawl with Atlanta Art Week (Postponed from October 1st)
Saturday, October 8 - 12-6 pm
In conjunction with the Atlanta Art Week Art Crawl, Buckhead Village will host an art crawl across the property with special events happening at participating pop-ups and art galleries on the property. Visitors are invited to take in a beautiful fall installation, enjoy in-store promotions at participating retailers and restaurants, and a line-up of other complimentary onsite experiences including kids arts & crafts stations, F&B carts from Bella Cucina and Saint Germain, live fashion sketching and live music by Lilac Wine.
