Hermès
Hermès of Paris is a French purveyor of quality goods established in 1837 that today specializes in leather, lifestyle accessories, perfumery, luxury goods, and ready-to-wear. “It has been said of Hermès,” The New York Times reported in 1940, “that it is perhaps the only establishment in the world in which one cannot buy a single article that is not in perfect taste.” Queen Elizabeth II favors the house’s printed-silk scarves, Jackie Onassis Kennedy carried the Constance sack, and both Grace Kelly and Jane Birkin gave their surnames to two of the world’s most coveted bags. Hermès has been an anchor tenant of Buckhead Atlanta since plans for the destination were established.
